1st Group Internship

To be eligible for this internship, students must have completed the first two academic terms. The goal of this internship is to familiarize students with the physical operations of a company that produces goods or services, to recognize the information systems used in the company, to learn how information flows through these systems, and to understand the relationships between machine-material-human elements. Students will also learn about the processes from raw material entry to final product production in manufacturing companies, the activities within these processes, and how these processes are managed and improved.
The internship must be completed at a company that produces goods or services and employs at least one engineer. The department will provide a template containing the required details to guide students in their internship experience.

Prerequisite for the 1st Group Internship: Completion of all courses up to the end of the second semester without failing due to absenteeism.

Production Internship (in Production-related Departments of Companies) 20 Days

2nd Group Internship

To be eligible for this internship, students must have completed the first four academic terms. This internship, also considered a management internship, must be completed in a medium- or large-scale production or service company that has an information processing center and uses information systems in some of its processes.
In addition to their first internship experience, students in this group are expected to identify a problem related to industrial engineering within the company and develop a small-scale project.

Prerequisite for the 2nd Group Internship: Completion of all courses up to the end of the fourth semester without failing due to absenteeism and completion of the 1st Group Internship.

Management Internship (In management-related departments of companies such as Business Development, Planning, Quality, Sub-Industry Management, Sales, IT, Marketing, Logistics, Finance, Purchasing, Human Resources, etc.) 20 Days

3rd Group Internship

To be eligible for this internship, students must have completed the first six academic terms. While there are no restrictions on whether this internship should be in production or management, it must be conducted in a medium- or large-scale company with departments handling business functions such as production, planning, and procurement. The company must employ at least one industrial engineer.
In this internship, students are expected to identify and define a real problem within the company where they are interning and solve this problem using company data to create a comprehensive project.

Prerequisite for the 3rd Group Internship: Completion of all courses up to the end of the sixth semester without failing due to absenteeism and completion of the 2nd Group Internship.
