Compru IT Club

Piri Reis University carries out various studies to ensure that students make the most of their time outside of class. Student clubs, which are an important part of university education, provide students with the habit of sharing, making their own decisions and working by taking responsibility while operating in their fields of interest. Apart from the existing clubs on our new campus, students are encouraged to establish new clubs according to their special interests. Compru Informatics Club, which was founded in 2018 and currently has more than 300 members, is the first and only club established at Piri Reis University to produce software-oriented projects and organize trainings. The main purpose of the club is to provide comprehensive training in the field of software to students who are interested in IT and to gain experience by bringing together those who aim to make a career in the IT sector with industry professionals. Compru prepares active members for career life in the best possible way by providing them with important skills such as teamwork, planning and organization. It also supports its members to expand their professional networks by organizing social events as well as technical skills. Since 2019, it has been continuing its work to wider audiences with the support of Google Developer Student Clubs.
