Maritime and Ship Technologies: Career Days Shaping the Future

Organized under the leadership of students from the Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering Department, the Ship and Marine Technologies Club held the “II. Career Days” summit on February 22-23, 2024, in our Rıdvan Kartal Conference Hall and foyer area. The summit, themed “Sectoral Innovation Trends and Sustainability,” hosted several distinguished guests and companies, including:
• Sefine Shipyard – Talent Management Manager Çağlayan Koçak
• ART Shipyard – Planning Project Engineer Onur Yıldız
• Park Shipyard – Production Manager Mustafa Babur
• Beşiktaş Shipyard – Project Manager Cezmican Eroğlu
• Aqua Chartering – Senior Chartering Broker Fuat Var
• BTMCo – Sales Manager Faruk Sarı
Additionally, the Ship and Marine Technologies Club regularly organizes technical visits each academic term to various shipyards and industry organizations, including Bilgin Yachts, Beşiktaş Shipyard, Sefine Shipyard, Sanmar Shipyard, ART Shipyard, Türk Loydu, BTM Group, HKTM Engineering, Cemre Shipyard, and others. In previous years, the university also hosted the “Pioneer of the Industry” career days event, welcoming numerous prominent industry figures to the university.
