The results of the 13th National Ship and Yacht Design Competition, organized by the Ship, Yacht, and Services Exporters’ Association (GYHİB) in coordination with the Ministry of Trade, have been announced.

At the award ceremony of the competition, themed “Fishing Vessel Design,” university-level designers received their prizes. This year, the 13th edition of the competition saw 35 students from different universities compete with 14 projects.

The Chamber of Ship Engineers (GMO) Special Award was granted to Ozan Cem Çiçek, a student from Piri Reis University’s Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering Department, for his project “Essox.” (06.12.2024)
