History

The Faculty of Engineering first started its education and training activities in 2010 with the Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering program. In 2013, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering programs were established, followed by Industrial Engineering in 2016 and Information Systems Engineering in 2019. Subsequently, in 2024, the Information Systems Engineering program was transformed into the Computer Engineering program.

Within this framework, today, Piri Reis University Faculty of Engineering continues its education and training activities in five departments:

• Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department
• Industrial Engineering Department
• Computer Engineering Department
