What is a minor?
In our department, students who meet the conditions set by our university have the opportunity to pursue a minor in another department they are interested in and wish to develop themselves in, alongside their main field of study.

(*) Students who successfully complete at least 4 compulsory courses (minimum 20 ECTS) and at least 2 elective courses (minimum 10 ECTS) from the listed courses (totaling a minimum of 30 ECTS), and who meet the conditions specified in the Piri Reis University Minor Program Directive dated 10.05.2011 and numbered 2011/03, will be awarded a “Mechanical Engineering Minor Certificate.”
