Compru IT Club

Piri Reis University carries out various activities to help students make the most of their time outside of classes. Student clubs, an essential part of university education, provide students with opportunities to engage in their fields of interest, share experiences, make decisions, and develop a sense of responsibility and teamwork.

In addition to existing clubs on our new campus, students are encouraged to establish new clubs based on their specific interests. Founded in 2018 and now boasting over 300 members, the Compru IT Club is the first and only club at Piri Reis University dedicated exclusively to developing software-focused projects and organizing training sessions.

The primary goal of the club is to offer comprehensive software training to students interested in information technology and to connect those aspiring to a career in the IT industry with professionals for hands-on experience. Compru prepares its active members for their careers by equipping them with essential skills such as teamwork, planning, and organization. Additionally, the club organizes social events to help members expand their professional networks.

Since 2019, Compru has continued its activities with the support of Google Developer Student Clubs, reaching a broader audience.
