Program Educational Objectives
The objective of the Computer Engineering Undergraduate Program is to ensure that its graduates have the following qualifications:
- Program graduates pursue their careers as software engineers, systems engineers, data engineers, R&D specialists, and similar roles in sectors such as software development, information technologies, telecommunications, financial technologies, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, gaming, e-commerce, embedded systems, and start-ups, as well as in national and international companies, public institutions, research organizations, or their own enterprises.
- Program graduates continue their professional and personal development in the rapidly changing field of computing by pursuing graduate education programs in Türkiye or abroad, participating in professional certification programs, or advancing in their academic careers.
- Program graduates take part as team members in large-scale software and systems projects carried out by interdisciplinary teams, and assume responsibilities in project management, team leadership, and technical leadership positions in the later stages of their careers.
- Program graduates carry out engineering practices in institutions and organizations that value ethical principles, social responsibility, environmental impacts, and sustainability, and serve as professionals who consider economic and societal implications.
- Program graduates take part in projects and institutions where digital transformation, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and current information technologies are widely applied, and actively contribute to innovative teams or their own enterprises that integrate these technologies into business processes.
